Why is Ro James so underrated? Its been 3 years since his last album, Eldorado and I personally thought the album is hot and not just the one song, Permission that everyone remembers him by.
I heard he was suppose to come out with the new album, but from what I heard- keeps pushing back. I hope it doesn't get shelved or anything cuz that would really suck because I think he's talented even though he reminds me of Prince a bit. Anyone else out there still a fan of Ro James?

For me, I guess it's because I've never heard of him.

I think you misspelled Rick.

Maybe because nobody knows who he is?

lol........I know that but the music public does not. Most of the music public does not even know who Rosie is. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

I agree with that, although I do know Rosie Gaines, I did not know Ro James, and honestly before now, I had never heard of him. I too thought that maybe it was a typo, like someone on here said, and thought that maybe it really was meant to say "Rick James" .....well at least now I know that Ro James is in fact, a real person, and also the nephew of Rosie Gaines.

he only made one album... mostly Prince influenced vocals... nothing memorable
