direct from 2003... this version of "Lucky" (1996) by Lewis Taylor was recorded in BBC's Maida Vale Studios, but it was never played or released until few days ago, when Gilles Peterson played for the first time in his BBC Radio 6 Music programme.

i strongly recommend. LT, retired for over a decade, is one of the most talented musicians of the last thirty years. soulful singing, superb guitar play, and the song is a classic... for the olds fans it is a chance to listen a rarity in his catalog...
