She performed the songs "American Life","Hollywood","Nothing Fails" and "Like A Prayer".The last two songs were performed with a choir and it was AMAZING! The great thing is,she sang these songs without all the special effects,the dancers and other distractions.It was a very "unplugged"-type performance and she sounded great. She has been lookin very hot lately. I saw that interview on VH1 with that chick from Will & Grace and she looks very sexy with the dark hair. She looked good on MTV special too.

I just watched that Madonna performance!! (MTV Canada picked it up later)
Loved it, the question period was candid and funny. (Of all her videos, she had the most fun with the making of "Justify My Love" - well no kidding lol) Hearing 3 new tracks and treating the audience to an "oldie but a goodie" will absolutely become one of her most memorable TV moments I think. Bless Mirwais if he helped get Madonna into singing without reverb; she sounded so real on that mic!
I liked the treatment of "Like A Prayer" with the band playing the minor chords for the outro choir vamp during the adlibs, yknow? "Iiii'll take you there.." WOO! For anyone interested, I think MTV Canada is cycling the 1-hour performance later today. | |
