Glastonbury 2019 The Cure /The killers

The Cure

Having watched this i was blown away by the performance.

I knew of there songs but never actually bought an album from them.

Or even watched them live.

The music was incredible and the voice of robert smith was great.

As each song went by i was like they are really good.

Discovering loads of new songs now its great.

The Killers

There set was great, whole band was spot on.

Will need to see them live, same with the cure.

Glastonbury 2019 i think sets a new bar for festivals.

The range of bands and singers was great.

Anyone not seen these sets..watch..espcially the cure

The Cure show was great from beginning to end!

The Killers show went from great to embarrassing when Teh PEt Shop Boys showed up.

The Killers were on fantastic form. They now have a big enough back catalogue of hits to sustain a brilliant two hour set. Brandon looks alot happier on stage now Dave and Mark aren't performing live and is a better front man for it.

I thought PSB joining them was ok, especially when they performed Human, which they'd teased earlier in the set. Bringing Marr out was a masterstroke and I don't think I've heard Charming Man performed better live. Amazing way to end their set.

The Cure were their brilliant self and Smith's voice was stunning considering how long he's been performing. Totally different sort of set but just as good as Killers. I thought they were going to play straight through their Disintegration album (one of my all time faves) when they opened with Plainsong and Pictures of You.

Watched most of the other performances over the weekend and I agree, one of the best Glastos for years. Christine and the Queens were another big highlight.
