Sad to see Infinity go, it was a great resource for several years filled with well intentioned and well versed fans of all ages. Sure there were the occasional loonies and sometimes the critiques were a little too colorful, but it was probably the most comprehensive Madonna fan site experience available. I'll miss it. RIP little fan forum, you had a great run.

I'd like to see a cartoon/animated video for Come Alive or Crazy, both songs are super catchy and have strong potential for almost unbearable cuteness a la Dear Jessie.

I agree it’s cute when she used cartoons in who’s that girl and music, I wonder how madame x in cartoon form would be! Maybe something like Britney’s cold as ice video?

Oh I think love this album. It's really very good indeed.I kind of checked out after 'Confessions'. On the strength of Medellin and God Control, bought the special edition. Love at first listen. heart

I think, since Confessions, Madonnas albums have been too long. I miss 10ish track albums; lean, focused, less filler, and more fun to listen to. Give me 45 minutes, in and out: Moondance, Sticky Fingers, Sgt. Peppers, Purple Rain, Thriller, Like a Prayer. So I cut out "Dark Ballet", "Killers Who Are Partying", "Batuka", and "I Rise", and much prefer the results. Less exhausting in the beginning, less cringe in the middle, and a more beautiful ending.

X falls from No. 1 all the way to No. 77 on the Billboard 200, a massive drop on the all-genre tally. It’s not uncommon for some albums to enjoy large opening weeks and then quickly descend the ranking, but Madonna’s tumble is one of the largest of all time.

The 76-position decline now stands as the fourth-farthest ever, and the biggest of 2019 by far.

Actually, in pure sales, MadameX outsold most albums in the top ten, even Lil Nas. But older artists don't get streamed much, and that's what the album charts are mostly based on. Tge charts really don't mean much.

Why are you always trolling Madonna threads with fake news articles? If you don't like her, fine. But she is still outselling any veteran act today.

Any of you checked out Madonna's radio station on SiriusXM? They play lots of rare songs and she gives us alot of exclusive, behind-the-scenes info about the songs.Hopefully, they will soon play "Holy Water".I'd like to know her thoughts about a wild song like that lol

The only thing people will remember is she had another #1 album.

The chart chatter is always amusing when Prince fans bark about "charts don't matter" when talking about Prince (PS Originals is at #131 on iTunes, and entered Billboard 200 not even in the top 10), but whip 'em out with fire and flare when talking about someone they don't like (in this case, Madonna). As an example, originals is #15. The album on its heels? A soundtrack from a movie that was out months ago, A Star is Born (which came out October 2018), and both of those are still being beat by an Ariana Grande album that's been out since February.

So no one cares if it's #77 or whatever. If people love a record, why is that such an offense to someone else?

"eye don’t really care so much what people say about me because it is a reflection of who they r."

I think the fall is justified, and kind of exciting. She's got a huge fanbase, all around the world, who but the album on day one. But the album itself is so uncommercial, and the image she projects is so brittle and zero-fucks-given. She wasn't going to stay in the top 20 on the commercial appeal of "God Control", with its whispers, rap, and violence. It's cool to see her recognize where she is in her career, and push forward in a new direction, come what may. I just wish she seemed...happier? Less insecure? Or like she was having more fun in the era. She seems so free, creatively.

Agreed ... same problem seems to have affecting cinema to; no one seems to be able to make a decent 1hr 20min film anymore, they all have to be pushing 2hrs or more.

I'm always happy with extra music from my fave artists but save those extra tracks for the special edition ... it'll be justify the additional expenditure then to.

From the clips she's been posting it sounds like it will be in a drum circle style with the "batukadeiras"

I'm surprised how quickly the new music/physical release aspect of this "era" has seemingly ended. The upcoming show season should be exciting but I was kinda hoping for a few remix packs other than Medellin. lol
