In no way is he a top notch vocalist,but I think he did a superb job on that album.That album is my favorite by him.SoulAlive said:

I love the acapella intro.This is one of my Top 5 favorite songs by him.

I don't get that vibe from their previous two albums, but yes I can see some subtle Michael McDonald traits in the new single, don't know if intentional or not
