. Woke up early (4 me) just 2 c, just got finished listening. A Boy Is A Gun is my favorite so far, but I gotta let it sink in. He's taken 2 singing more on this 1 (I think it was like track 4, 5 or later b4 he actually spit a, rap, verse), but I can get with it. He's different, which is y I got into him, just recently actually. I no he's something of a polarizing figure amongst sum cuz of his past lyrics, etc, but 1 can't deny his talent. Any1 hear IGOR yet? It's on the YouTubes, if ur like me (cheap/broke)

For the older people here, including myself, it is easy to dismiss these guys as "just another rapper", but Tyler is making the same evolution as Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, and before them Pharrell, Kanye, Outkast, etc. They have a lot going on musically. They really are the new Princes, Stevie Wonders, George Clintons, etc. They are scene builders as well, collaborating with and introducing other amazing artists, like Tyler did with The Internet. Music has never been better. No need to stay stuck in the 1970s, 80s, 90s. Pay attention. | |

Except that ODD FUTURE is the precursor for the sound and artistry that people claim they are biting from like Anderson Paak ect. Naturally Odd Future were also inspired by what came before them. And so the cycle goes. Goblin -Tyler. Nostalgia Ultra-Frank Ocean and Purple Naked Ladies - The Internet Those three albums combined is perhaps one of the greatest debuts by any group of creatives ever. Odd Future are quite exceptional. .
