Amazing Grace: Aretha Franklin Documentary

03/2019

NEON has released the trailer and poster for Amazing Grace, which is scheduled to open in Los Angeles and New York theaters on April 5th.

The documentary presents the live recording of Aretha Franklin’s album Amazing Grace at The New Bethel Baptist Church in Watts, Los Angeles in January 1972. The film is crafted from never-before-seen footage originally captured in 1972.

This is one of the most important, historical moments in music history. I'm elated we are finally able to witness it.

WOW! This was something to see, so glad I made the effort.

To see her father so proud of her and the look in her eyes while her dad was there was special.

Had to go buy the album, the music is just powerful.

Thank you Ethos, without this post I may have missed this.
