I usually lose interest in this series by this time, but this has been a great year for American Idol. There were so many great finalists this year. Yes the cutesy teen idols were among the last to go but this year a lot of the more serious artists stayed pretty far along. Today’s final episode features Alejandro who is just an amazing artist. He’s not a cutesy teen idol but a seriously talented 24 year old songwriter and musician. I’m surprised he made it this far.
Along with him are two more generic though talented Disney-type teen idol type performers.
