I feel late n this just came out last Friday . I really like it . I especially enjoy Down With the Clique, Way to the Show, Stay Flo, but the whole thing is rather dope n the interludes don't really detract from that. I slept on (still sleeping actually, as I tried listening 2 it earlier n couldn't get thru whole thing) her last album n still play True every 1nce in a while. She pretty good on this 1 2 . Any1 else peep it? It's on the YouTubes btw .

Different strokes . Junie is , thanks 4 your suggestion. I'll get back 2 ASATT someday soon, the first few songs (including Cranes) didn't move me, but maybe I'm missing something. This album just flows 4 me, I could listen 2 the whole thing all day .

There's literally ONE song on this record that discusses black pride (coincidentally, the "single"). If you're going to criticize work, at least show that you actually observed it.

and it's not as if BLACK PEOPLE need to move on from BLACK PRIDE. ever. As Solange herself said at the film's screening (while DEFENDING the album against criticisms of it NOT showcasing blackness as bluntly as her previous work), "Blackness will never go away.
