Funny store: A friend went to a James Taylor concert recently and he said another friend went back stage and met Reba MacIntire. I asked "Reba MacIntire?" "Yeah - Reba MacIntire. She opened up for Taylor." "Huh - seems an odd pairing." "Oh wait - not Reba MacIntire.... ummm..." "Bonnie Raitt?" "Right - that's who it was. She was really good. Never heard her before." That surprised me - a forty year old musician who said he had never heard a Bonnie Raitt song before seeing her in concert. | |
