I liked his part at the end of this. Great voice. One day I hope there will be a cure for brain cancer.

From Kim Fields-Freeman's social media, Kim played Tootie on Facts of Life and Regine on Living Single sitcoms, posted this incredible image:
Caption: #wbw honoring #JamesIngram this is from the recording of Michael Jackson’s PYT which James wrote w/ #quincydjones . #janetjackson invited#mindycohn & I to the session. As I said yesterday after hearing of James’s passing... I have a small collection of memories of him and his fam. This is the first one. #music #pyt #blessedlife if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

As much a dynamic singer Ingram was, he too was a brilliant musician. One of his contributions was in teaming on the classic R&B "A Night to Remember" by Shalamar.

When I attended the Quincy Jones tribute late last year I wondered why JAMES didn’t show up to do his duet “Baby Come To Me” with Patti Austin(whom brilliantly mimicked JAMES part of the duet) now I know why. Quincy said at his premier of his documentary(another event I was in attendance)that All his friends(including Prince) has passed away. I feel the same. "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."

100 Ways...
You want some funk? Better Way... I think it was from one of the Beverly Hilly Cop soundtracks... I loved it. I turned a white guy on to R&B through this 80's R&B song. Great talent. I was wondering where we was for the Quincy thing.
Sudden and sad. | |

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
