Don't know if there is any truth to it but I do remember being in my hometown Columbia SC for the holidays in December that year and Augusta, GA is only 1 hour and 15 minutes away. I remember that Friday they showed him on the local news giving toys to kids in Augusta and that following Monday he was dead. Don't laugh at my funk
