Yes.LP's fiancee Lauren Ruth Ward is opening for her the entire tour. Andy also sang with LP at Coachella last year. It seems they are close. She played an unannounced set at The House Of Blues Orlando last weekend for some kind of event so it looks like she is getting back into music. Her new single and video are being well received. She's been recording songs since last spring so a new album may be on the way.

Yes,that is what I am thinking as well or she was bisexual but hadn't yet revealed that. It's kind of odd how quickly she changed because at the time of Prince's passing,she was in a relationship with a man and happily told everyone about it during a livestream of one of her shows at The Mint in 2016.

Perhaps his shoes are too difficult to fill? Perhaps men feel inadequate and she can’t convince them that they Are fine lovers. Perhaps we live in a time where she is simply choosing it. (I’m not quite sure I believe the “I was born this way” narrative in all cases Anymore. Imo.) And perhaps any rebuttles to my notions are correct. I'm not sure what to make of that because it appeared to be so sudden. Her demeanor was even different in interviews in 2015 and '16. I agree that it does seem that lifestyle has become kind of trendy with younger people and it does seem some are not authentic with it. Andy has been sharing photos of lesbian couples on her IG stories the past few days and said that she finds them to be an inspiration.It looks like she may have fallen for someone of the same sex on the heels of her last breakup and has been slowly revealing that to her followers and now the world. I think she has confused some with her latest video who didn't seem to be aware of some of the more recent happenings in her life.

For some it seems to be. I'm not saying that Andy is one of those people. She appears to be very genuine about her convictions and beliefs and she has many friends who identify themselves as gay. I don't know the entire history of who she has dated,only those she has chosen to make public and it's possible she has been with women before but was keeping that private. Up till now,she has publicly dated only men. I was mainly referring to the seemingly sudden shift in her personality and appearance in the summer of 2016. It was apparent while watching her FB Lives over the course of the year.

i agree, i do think todays climate is one of "identify as you wish" i think by and large, long gone are the days

of the mantra "i was born this way".

True. Bria was a constant escort to events in 2009 and he even took Misty as his date to a few events. With some of the lyrics in the songs on the last few albums he gave the impression that he was still interested but he also mentioned the "metaphysical" as well. In the shows in Europe in 2011 he would change the lyrics to "Peach" to fit whatever color Andy was wearing that particular night and he seemed to want to give the impression they had something going on but it may have been just for show.

That's true. I think it's possible that she may have just recently realized this. It just appeared to be very sudden for her. I suppose she may have always been attracted to women while with the men in her life but she gave no indication of that until a couple of years ago. She did have two dancers portray a lesbian couple in her video for "Don't Ever Say" so I guess that may have been a hint.

Andy was wearing a white jacket for the show and he sang the line directly to her so that was very suggestive. Bria's album was very sensual and I wondered about his claims about celibacy then as well. I just watched a show from Copenhagen 2010 where he changed the lyric from red to blue so I'm thinking he likely was making a reference to what B was wearing that night. The thread is about Andy's new song and video and most of the comments have been on topic.Some are wondering what is going on with her seemingly sudden new direction. Looking at the comments on YouTube,several love the new song and video and are appreciative to her for shining a positive light on LGBTQ relationships. It appears that Andy is more interested in promoting the video rather than the song itself. The comments have been nothing but positive about the new single and I'm sure her followers would enjoy learning more about the new music that she has been recording since last year. Someone commented on Twitter that after hearing 'Angels' they couldn't wait to hear the whole album and Andy liked and retweeted so it seems more music may be on the way. I have not made a thread about Andy since last summer concerning her 2010 special on The Africa Channel. The last one I created was about Ida Nielsen's new album. Until now,I have posted only links to new photos in existing threads about Andy. I do enjoy her music as well as her work with Prince, as I do several other assosciated artists. It doesn't seem that she's ready to talk about her relationship if she is in one. I thought she looked kind of awkward with the woman in the video too. I was wondering if she was going to possibly post a photo of herself and her gf along with the other couples she has been sharing on her IG stories but so far she hasn't. She did post a pic with her brother so she is in Sac. So far,she's sticking with her usual pattern when in a relationship. Hints here and there and some photos I've come across but no official confirmation.
