Saw Richard Thompson formerly of Fairport Convention , with his electric trio last night.A 2 hour show of riveting electric numbers and also f course his old standards all in an intimate setting .I never fail to be amazed by his riveting guitar work and his onstage energy.He is almost 70 years old but I guess that is the new 40😎 Anyway don’t miss the show ... a fantastic deal for $50

"When The Spell is Broken" is how I got introduced to him back in the 80's, a beautiful haunting song. Not only is thompson a guitar hero but also one of the greatest songwriters of this century. Check out the album & companion video for "Across a Crowded Room."
