Another great song that I love is from Shabba Ranks-

"Family Afair", Shabba Ranks ft. Patra...

Some of the lyrics:

"unite! Live by the love, live by the love...

Stop shed blood, respect the blood.....

You got to take time out to care, It's not too big for you to share...

If you don't care den no one else will care....

Erase dis hate, stop the killing out dere, fussing and a fighting move us nowhere.....

Watch this said it's a family affair everyone mus' prepare!....

We teach all 'em learn mus' we learn an' care, and make all o dem come love and care...

Me for you and you for me, and let's stay together as one family....

Let's stay together as one unity".

I was listening to some great songs by Peter Tosh(Libra). He and Bob Marley were in the group the Wailers.

I have to email Dahved and tell him to play more old school tunes! 😃

I ´m not into young girls but I really like this old classic a lot.

Then again, the lyrics show that the singer isn´t really into young girls either. lol

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Barrington Levy is truly oldschool and still very, very popular and successful. Such a vigorous and energetic man.

I really like his romantic songs.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Ziggy covered his dad´s song on various occasions.

I think the only person who truly cared about uniting Africa was Muammar Ghaddafi. lol

As terrible as he was, he truly cared about Africa and had big plans for Africa.

.

Another unusual and very unlikely person to care about Africa is....believe it or not...GW Bush.

Singer, Spice is a Leo. That is cool. Many Leos are entertainers, singers, musicians, actors, teachers, politicians.

Leo is the sign of presidents, kings and queens.

Spice, Song Lyrics:

"Friends Not Good For You".

"Mama used to tell me friends not good for you girl... But I know I would learn the hard way...

Smile inna yuh face, them a chat behind yuh back.... Gwan like them a sheep but them a wolf inna pack...

Friends will sell you out fi two shillings and pearls...

Back stabber could be sister or yuh brother...

Watch your friends more than your enemy...

"They don't wanna see you on your way"...

Great song! And relateable.

There was a Jamaican resturant right across the street from my place in London years ago, and every morning that song along with everything Barry Biggs would be heard.

Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future...
