HELP! Trying to find a song!

The song could have come out anytime between the mid 70's and very early 80's (though I think it's moreso the latter).

The singer sounds a lot like Don Henley and may actually be him and the chorus sounds like he's saying "...It's all in love". I tried googling "don henley all in love" but found nothing so any expert help will be much appreciated!

The first two songs to come to mind, because you said Love and Henley, are "Heart of the Matter", and the non-Henley "All For Love" by Sting, Bryan Adams, and Rod Stewart (?).

It's neither one of those.

The song I sounds like it came out between '75 and '81, maybe '82. If I could record what the chorus sounds like, it would be easier to figure out.

That's a killer song. Love it!

On Dutch radio there's a DJ, Gerard Ekdom, in his daily morning show, he has a feature called "Doctor Pop" in which he tries to figure out requests like yours.

Isn't there anythis similar on a US radio station somewhere?

You could call them and hum the song smile

Al Bundy once had a similar issue (sorry, it's friday afternoon lol)

Not that.

It's a more upbeat but midtempo track. It's kinda hard to describe the genre since my guesstimation of the chorus is all I remember.

I suppose you could call it a light rock song.

Would it be considered a yacht rock song?

I wouldn't consider it one but who knows how it would be generally classified.

It has a light R&B vibe to it. I guess you could say it's blue-eyed soul as well because I'm pretty sure the guy singing is white.

Are you sure about the lyric? 1974-1982 is a well wide range of styles to try and focus on.

I'm not sure about the actual lyrics but that's what it sounds like to me.

I thought the dude was Don Henley so is there anyone else who making music at the time whose vocals resembled his?
