Because this still looks and sounds great after all these years, and also because you probably won't ever hear it again on the radio nor find the album 'Prose Combat' in the record stores or any streaming sites (due to an unresolved conflict between Solaar and his old record company, Polydor, now part of Universal).

Always loved this song and video. I love the special effects of the video.

The video was ahead of it's time. Amazing this song wasn't a bigger hit than

Maniac.

I know M has more influencial and renowned videos, but this was the video where I fell 'in love' with M. I was ten years old when it came out. The song has a beautiful innocence to it and the video matched that ... care-free on the beach, in the sunshine ... and damn was that ever sexy!

In most M videos I'd look at her and think it would be amazing to sleep with that character, but this was the first video I saw her and thought it would be amazing to have this character as your girlfriend.

Why? Do I seriously have to answer why? Cause it's Toy in all her prowess, that's why. Powerful, beautiful, talented, tasteful and daring. And adroit, whatever that means.

You have to have a knack for Fincher's 90's advertising style...
It's so tacky and artificial. Fincher may be the most overrated director of the last twenty years.
Everything he does looks like a beer commercial.

If that's your thing, I think Aerosmith's "Janie's Got A Gun"
and MJ's "Who Is It" are better.
But they still look like advertising to me.

DAvid fincher is awesome, no complaints!

I’m going with Janet’s all for you and made for now. I love the bright colours, dancing, animation and/or special camera effects. Dave Meyers did both videos

"Bad Girl" video by Madonna (1993)----I like this video because it looks like a really good movie....about a woman who's drifting through life with no direction,no true love....."Im not happy",she sings and you can see the heartbreak and pain she endures,as her guardian angel attempts to help her....a very fascinating video!

I agree, Fincher did a great job on this one.
The presence of Walken helps. I didn't know he was behind "Vogue" as well.

That's a really good shout! Erotica was the first new Madonna album after I became a fan ... I was hoping for another typical upbeat M album with some dance tracks, classic pop, the odd ballad, so it was quite a surprise when Erotica had quite a dark and dour tone ... but I loved it all the more because of it.

The Bad Girl video encapsulated that perfectly and takes me right back to my early teens when I discovering so much about music, sex, life, etc.

Off the top of my head, the two last videos from Bowie right before he passed away.

The first one is very dense and I always see new layers each time I watch it, it's very expressive without needing to be literal about its theme.

The second is just absolutely raw and emotional and it just touches me deep.

I can't talk about one without the other, sorry. lol
