I can't speak for anyone else but the reason I don't like Beyonce is certainly not out of jealousy. And please don't bring race into this. I don't give a rat's behind what color she is. Her music is forgettable and has ZERO substance. On her best day, her voice is average. And I just don't trust anyone who has so much control over what the media reports on them.

I know!!! I enjoy some of her music but she really has this title because there is little to no competition.

Well I strongly believe the the percieved 'overpraise' of Beyonce has lots to do with Britney Spears because she was the 'incorrect' type of mega star and the 'overpraise' of Beyonce is a way of making up for that.

In addition to my post about the media's "overpraise" of Beyonce being a way to "make-up for Britney Spears being an incorrect megastar", the overpraise of Beyonce is also applied as a mechanism in case of any pitfalls in her brand.

For instance, being a 'feminist' is a main feature of her brand yet much of her career/relationships (relationships she makes public) contradicts her being a 'feminist'. The media knows this but remains silent as to not hurt her brand.
