What are some of your favorite Tupac songs and lyrics. He was very talented. Another Gemini. I remember listening to him talking to Angie Martinez on the radio and she was saying that fighting has to stop.

I don't like many of his songs but "Toss It Up", "To Live And Die In LA" and "How Do You Want It" are probably 3 of my favourites.

He had a lot of philosophical songs as well. And I think KRSOne wrote a song about philosophy? I have to research that and start another thread. [Edited 11/10/18 7:26am]

It's an obvious choice, perhaps, but 'Keep Ya Head Up' has always been one of my favourite hip hop lyrics. "Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced." - James Baldwin

Sure I like conscious 2Pac, but I also really like bragadocious 2Pac. I'm fond of his verse on World Wide Mob Figgaz with Outlawz: . Known for doing scandalous deeds, no handling me I don't want your rhythm without your rhyme

And he was practically a kid. Over 35 is when a person gets more mature. [Edited 11/11/18 8:47am]

I remember hearing him when he first debuted with 2pacalypse Now album and I always felt that that his first three releases, 2N, Strictly 4 My N*****, and Me Against the World were the actual essence of the man and his contradictions. Best lyrics for me come from "Souljah's Story". "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish."
