John Barnes worked with MJ on and off from 1983 to 2008. He had a major hand in Captain EO, Victory, and Bad. He speaks about all of those projects along with the making of We Are The World and MJ's final recording sessions
Here's some further info on him from a June 1988 issue of Cashbox and a mention in Billboard from '82

I really enjoyed it and glad to finally to hear from him as he and others are very selective about speaking about their work with Michael. Getting info from him or Bill Bottrell, Brad Buxer and others is RARE and this is like the third time I can remember him doing an interview.
He was in Bad 25 but got MAYBE...5 minutes altogether? of screen time. Instead we got Kanye, Bieber, LA Reid, Mariah and Chris Brown "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." |
