He became the master of mashing on the pedals as he played to get that dirty, oil-sludge, up-the-foothills sound out of the guitar. RIP

His work on Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite brought me back 2 DA FUNK!

Especially the solo at the end of the song "Welcome."

My jaw hit the floor when I first heard that intro to "Urban Theme," it was the funkiest thing I'd ever heard in my life.

May he rest in peace.

Came across this on Res' Soundcloud, tagged produced by Res & Wah Wah Watson.

Is this a cover? It's lovely whatever it is.

I burned up a CD playing the intro to "Urban Theme". Anytime you lose people who contribute and nurture our soul's, they are gone too sone. RIP Waston,
