I've been mixed on D'Angelo comeback a few years ago, but this is great track. The style seems to suit his vocals very well. It would've fit perfectly in Django Unchained. |

Dangelo is my ALL TIME favorite artist that channels Prince. His vocal layering was learned from the best. I really enjoyed his last performance live I attended. After he walked away from the height of fame. "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when  was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream." |

So true. It´s part of the reason why I am very, very patient and forgiving when it comes to D´Angelo and his, ahem, very individual sense of time. I just appreciate the fact that he´s still doing his thing and still releasing great music and delivering superb concerts, even after being on hiatus for an eternity.
