Well, I like 'My Favorite Things' more than 'Porgy and Bess'.

But you gotta go with Miles. He got there first, was more of a visionary.

I prefer Miles' version too, but I'm not as sure Miles was more of a visionary than 'Trane, who took his sound seemingly into another dimension towards the end.

I like the trumpet sound more than the sound of the saxophone (sorry Prince). I prefer Mile’s quieter version of Summertime; Coltraine’s playing on it is too busy for “living easy”, imo. I pick Miles.
