Guilty pleasure or legitimate pleasure: Lukas Graham I did a search of this site and seems that Lukas Graham has not been discussed here much, if at all. I have really enjoyed their 2015 album--to my mind full of fun and soul; nice vocals--a joyous, heartfelt look at life that I haven't felt since Prince passed. I have pre-ordered their new album due next month. Anyone else enjoy their music? Or am I on my own here? I miss you my friend --jj, me, and many others

There's no such thing as a guilty pleasure. You either like something or you don't. If you enjoy it, then it's legitimate.

Thanks for the positive response, Emma. I do really like them and I don't need to feel guilty about it. I guess I was just wondering what other Prince fans thought of them. I miss you my friend --jj, me, and many others

They're a band? I thought Lukas Graham was a solo artist. Also, they're the ones who made that "7 years old..." song, aren't they? Based on that alone, I got little reason to look into their music. The song was just tolerable at first but hearing it everywhere almost every day made it unbearable.

Yeah, the band is Lukas Graham which is named after the lead singer, Lukas Graham Forchhammer. I understand about being overplayed. Like I love Prince but not really his catchy, overplayed hits--some of the lesser known gems are what I love. Lukas Graham are still pretty young. I'm hoping they stick around and their music matures.

If you love some type of music or artist, it's legitimate simply because you are drawn to it. To be attracted to something you deem guilty or illegitimate makes you the same. We are drawn to what we are, and you ain't illegitimate. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
