Kim Kardashian was “begging” to be kicked off stage by Prince ...those are her words. Watching the episode of Keeping up With The Kardashian’s from last week. “I was like begging to be kicked off”. I’ve backed up the DVR like 6 times now just to hear it! Does she not realize everyone is gonna call bs on her story!?!?

Prince did good when he kicked her off stage. The only thing she was right about in that episode last week, is she can't dance. She didn't ask to be kicked off.

Right. She wsa not saying anything on stage - just smiling, standing there, and looking entitled - which is pretty much her daily routine. Prince realized the situation quickly, threw his head back in sarcastic laughter, and then very adamantly said, "GET OFF MY STAGE!". He then shook his head and sarcastically said, "welcome to America".....as in, there goes another no talent, spoiled, entitled brat thinking she's too cool for a musical icon who's performing in front of like 20,000+ people. * When I first saw that clip I thought, oh no, she did NOT really act like that with him??!!! That's why it was such fun to see Prince put her in her place.

True, but sadly, she is where she is, because of many in this country/world allowing her to have the spotlight and attention. Even worse, many think she's somehow worthy of the attention. I mean, heck, even Prince did for a minute when he pulled her up on his stage. Luckily, her true idiocy was revealed in that moment, and he quickly retaliated. * At least we're on the right side of the fence about her on this thread

Also, in what universe is Kim Kardashian an "associated artist"? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

exactly. Actually, the Forum is titled "Associated Artists and People", so I think the OP is justified with posting the topic, especially with the fact that all Prince fans know of this past event. It was also well documented in the media. * I also always find it interesting when Org members are critical of a video or interview that is posted, but based on their comments have clearly watched said video or read said interview. And if the subject of the thread is so unworthy of discussion, in their opinion, then why are they bothering to post a comment in the first place?? Hmmmmm....

Glad she wasn't on stage at the two New Jersey shows I went to before this one... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

I will never understand why we can't have a fun thread, without somebody bitching about us having fun.

The hypocrisy is even worse - commenting that those posting on this thread are "Kardashian" followers, because of watching one of them interviewed, meanwhile posting comments indicating that they have also watched the video * I myself have never followed any Kardashian, nor do I think they deserve any attention from the media, and I did not watch her interview; however, I see no harm in discussing her response to what happened with Prince at his concert. It is relevant to this forum, and always funny to think about him kicking her off of his stage

I'm not afraid to say that I watch them, and laugh at the stupid things they do. Their lavish lifestyle makes my mouth drop open. And what Prince did was epic.

I do get that people are entertained by the ridiculousness of all that is "Kardashian" - they've created quite the circus media empire. I just can't stomach the obnoxiousness and plastic emptiness of it all, but I certainly don't judge anyone who partakes in the "circus" viewing

Regardless of whether she acknowledges how she acted, the fact remains that she behaved like a complete and utter idiot when given the great opportunity to share the stage with Prince, and to dance with him for a few minutes. Her "I'm too cool for this" attitude was disgusting. She's a female "Tool". * Copied from the Urban Dictionary definition for Tool (notice #5.....how fitting!!) * 1.) A guy with a hugely over-inflated ego, who in an attempt to get un-due attention for himself, will act like a jackass, because, in his deluded state, he will think it's going to make him look cool, or make others want to be like him. The person may even insincerely apologize later on, but only in an attempt to get more attention, or to excuse his blatantly intentional, and unrepentantly tool-ish behavior.

Exactly, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are actually people who believe her

And then he says to the crowd in his classic sarcastic voice, "welcome to America..."

No kidding right!? some people are only on here to create drama. Stir the pot. Antagonize. And like to pick threads apart, not discuss or add anything!

Yep same here! I watch them. It's mind numbing for me . I can zone out and think about things other than whats stressing me out at the time. I

Yes, but the voices.....and the absolute airhead and superficial nature of the conversations...I can't, just can't do it. The lowest I go for the mind numbing is the Real Housewives Of New York - at least you get some occasionally witty dialog (thanks mainly to Bethanny Frankel) among all of the superficial crap and the backstabbing

High comedy, indeed. BTW wish Prince had decided to release the Welcome 2 America album... He initially performed at least the spoken word/musical intro to the song at one performance I went to... Oh, that and Black Muse was performed (by a female singer?)! I'll have to check Princevault--my memory ain't what it used to be...
