New Childish Gambino - Feels Like Summer

With some interesting images including a cying Kanye, and a literal 'melting pot' of black & white ice cream, among other things.

"eye don’t really care so much what people say about me because it is a reflection of who they r."

Not my cup of tea. Remember when he was on SNL a couple of months ago and he performed 2 songs. One was "This Is America". But the other one was really good but I can't remember the name of it and for some reason, its been removed from YouTube. I was hoping he'd release that one after This Is America but he hasn't so far.

I like. But I have to admit I've been getting into him for a while now.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Thank you so much for this. For some reason, once the actual video of the performance was removed, I never even thought to look for the audio on YouTube. I've just ripped the audio to my iTunes now so if this gets removed, I'll still have it. Thanks again.

A pleasant track... Reminds me of Rose Royce's 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore'.

Wow. What a beautifully, cool song of warning for all of us. He channeled Marvin without covering "Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)".

I really like how mellow it is. There's a method to his madness. Diggin the message! cool

I'm digging the community message in the video. @ 3:47 mark, was that Rihanna or Aaliyah?

Yeah, they might have based the track on the first chords of Rose Royce's joint.

Locally, we are having a high temperature of 57 degrees Farhenheit / 14 degrees Celsius, and expected to get to freezing over night. So, it doesn't feel like Summer.

Why can't these Summer tracks drop in June? Serving the Australian Summer market or what.

Summer is done. Hell, "Feels Like Halloween" should have dropped today.

Not sure where he's living today, but if it's LA. Spring, Summer, Autumn, same difference.

I like the song and love the video....I love summery songs in general and this one has a bit of a nostalgic feel to it. Reminiscent of Curtis Mayfield´s and Marvin Gaye´s political songs. He seems to have put a lot of thought into the video. Love the look of it, too.

I am! But we did not have summer weather on "the First Day of Summer". And we already have autumn weather when "the First Day of Fall" is September 23. Not fair to have it shortened.
