A few years back I did add this and the other Funkadelic cut from the Family Series to make my own version of the album, but I'd really love to hear Funk Gets Stronger Part 3 and the rest! "Anna Stesia come to me, talk to me, ravish me

"May Day" is a great track the song "Atomic Dog" was also intended for the album. When that song became a massive hit a year later, (on George's Capitol Records debut),I bet that Warners were pissed at themselves for rejecting it,lol.

This song is from the original Electric Spanking. I dig it more than Electro-Cuties, which I believe took its place when the album got trimmed. I'm not really a big fan of Electric Spanking either, tbh, but I love the cuts w/ Sly May Day May Day y'all. I even like the remix of it that pvine released. I guess it would be that plus I Angle, Atomic Dog and a longer version of Icka Prick.

Typical shenanigans never take the bait from them it's a you shouldn't nuf bit fish how late do you have to be before it's still absent type thang with them for real. 4 years he talked about this record and they won't even put out a hard copy. Never has he released somn with no liner credits whatsoever. For what's it's worth I'm picking up some serious Bernie Worrell spirits when listening to Kool Aid. I think it's an old track circa late 70's with the Woo master of the universe doing the bass synth. It's so heavy and it's got his nuances all over it.

I guess the bottom line is that there just wasn't enough interest in the crowdfunding campaign to justify a vinyl release. That is sad, but that is the current state of music. Everybody expects to get it for free or in crap quality from streaming services.

There is actually some good material on it. They should at least put a digital booklet out with it like they did Gate so we can see who is playing on what.

I saw George and the crew last weekend at the Old School Funk Fest.Excellent show! They performed “Up For The Down Stroke”,”Flashlight”,”One Nation Under A Groove”,”Knee Deep”,”Atomic Dog” and a hard-rocking newer track that I didn’t immediately recognize (might be one of the tracks from Shake The Gate).George was in a fun mood and had a lot of energy.

https://www.discogs.com/Parliament-Medicaid-Fraud-Dogg/release/12528857 I think this is the one on eBay a friend of mine is waiting on. If it's got credits and in English I'm game.

Yes,George and his P-Funk crew was the headliner. They came on last and did only a few songs, but their set was lengthy."Flashlight" and "Knee Deep" became long extended jams that went on forever. It was fantastic! The entire show was excellent. Brick were great...they did a very, very long version of "Dusic" and it was a funk lover's dream come true Ohio Players were another highlight of this show.I had never seen them in concert before so I was very excited to finally see their performance. The highlight of their set was an incredible, mindblowing version of "Funky Worm".Tom Browne was good too, although he didn't do his 1981 classic jam "Thighs High".....instead,he opted to do a slower, jazzy version of Heatwave's "Groove Line".As I watched all these bands and artists, the thing that impressed me the most was,for the most part, they all displayed REAL MUSICIANSHIP using real instruments. It was so refreshing to see this,in this era of sampled beats and hip-hop.Dazz Band,Evelyn Champagne King and A Taste Of Honey were great, too.Vaughan Mason came on first and his set was OK.The show took us all back to the funky 70s and it was a night I won't soon forget.

Are they still touring?! What is their line-up now? Edit: Apparently original members James 'Diamond' Williams (Drummer), Billy Beck, (Keyboardist), Clarence 'Chet' Willis (Guitarist) and Robert 'Kuumba' Jones (Percussionist) are keeping it going. [Edited 9/23/18 10:36am]

You can also order the Japan CD on Amazon, too, now. But it's cheaper on Ebay. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Thank you SoulAlive! A few interesting surprises; Garry Shider last vocal appearance on Riddle Me This - mostly an old Rob Manzoli production I guess. Chris Dave also drumming on Set Trip, not only DaDa. Token appearances by Amp Fiddler and Garrett Shider. Hunter Dawes bass on a few tracks including Type Two - he was on Fucked Up. The music on Kool Aid is still a bit of a mystery; Trix/Tmix? Can't read it. What is that? A dial-a-random-funk-track mailorder service?

However, I had to rethink a lot of my suspicions about the track personnel once I saw the actual credits. I certainly was ready to say Kool Aid was somn out of the can with Bernie on synth bass.
