This is going to be such a fun record. There is a clip of her from Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again singing "Fernando". I was surprised how much I enjoyed her voice on that song. "Gimme Gimme Gimme" sounds just as good. I think it is going to be a fun album and a nice tie-in with the movie.

I have been a huge fan of Cher's for 45 years, but I have to say that I'm not down with this. I will be avoiding it like the plague. Anything with autotune sucks and Cher uses it way too much. She is so much better than this.

Cher doesn't need autotune, but Mark Taylor who produced "Believe" also produced this. I guess I just got used to that vocal effect, doesn't really bother me.

She did respond to some guy on Twitter who made a remark about the vocoder thing, and she told him to listen to the whole album. Apparenetly there are songs where her voice isn't altered like that.

It doesn't bother me either. It's kind of a "Cher" thing now w/ her. She doesn't use it on every song and certainly won't this record. And you are absolutely right - Cher only needs a microphone to wail. People have always underestimated the power of her singing voice.

I love ABBA but loathe Cher since imo she's the one (Believe) responsable for the complete downfall of all music.

Here is "SOS". This album is going to give me life through 2020.

SOS is my fave so far. Love it!

Cher will be on "Ellen" tomorrow (9/7).

She was lip syncing on Ellen which was rare but more disappointing. Still excited about the album.

She seems to be singing live. I can tell.

She definitely wasn't. You can see her take a short breath when she normally wouldn't or even her lips are off from the track going into the chorus. She still has a powerful voice, but since these shows are taped during the day, maybe she wasn't up to singing or warmed up. I ain't mad at her. I was more interested in the interview anyway.

She released "One Of Us" today. Album out next Friday.

Love her version of "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)". Immediately downloaded it and synced it to my music player after one listen from her Instagram.

"S.O.S." video out, including Rumer Willis, and Lauren Weedman from HBO's Looking.

I snagged it last night NY time because it was already out in Australia. I really love it. It's just good fun, no pretense, not artsy-fartsy interpretations. Every song is a bop and it's a great party record.
