Hi all.

Just sharing this post to any who would be concerned, that two of late music legend/artist Freddie Mercury's "New York Daughters" have completed the tome documenting their times together with FM in NY 1981- communications/Visits and Times in London up to 1991

Having been a part of the initial discussions that led to this idea first blooming then coming to fruition, i felt it would be great to post here for any who would share interest in it.

To summarize, the book is a collection of reflections and anecdotes from their times together and will feature some 50 previously unseen personal photos from the bunch. Through Q&A i believe some of this will touch on topical bits concerning FM and the band, his solo projects and most likely the collaboration with MJ that went awry.

I would believe the bulk would be remembrances and photography

The book is apparently completed and being shopped around various publishers.


A go *FUND me has been set up by Thor Arnold in which to alleviate research and legal bills for literary agent prior to publishing (or something of that nature)

It's been stated that all donations over $50 will be met with a personally signed copy of the book: also. .should the book never see the light of day (*unlikely to happen there IS great interest) funders would be reimbursed

I am merely a messenger. It has almost reached its goal

The project started after one of the authors took to a web forum to clear up NON facts that were misreported and sensationalized after he and a few others participated in a soon to be discovered hack job called "FREDDIES LOVERS". (Of which he was NOT one; to be explained best by him)


Not certain of all the content, though.


From what I'd gathered much of it would be of interest to the uber fan, some to the casual fan (band things etc). I believe the authors are sincere in their desire to portray a better light of the man. And although they'd kept in touch for years and visited, these talks turned to reminisces which turned to questions which turned to Lee revisiting his extensive photographs and the two getting together with some odd coincidences etc occurring in between. Superstition or not, they thought about the notion of a book from fan goading and THEN the film got green lit so.... in a practical sense i believe the authors felt it was "blessed" etc. By happenstance.

They'd tell it much better.

But it's a good chance to get in on the ground floor of things. No idea the expected dimensions of the book, but talk is of a coffee table sized book.

They are humorous folks so i doubt there'd be much boring about it.

Anyways. As with others. Looking forward to it.
