JLO's video for "I'm Glad"... Flashdance revisited

Amazing video... that girl's got bootaaay for days.

But the song SUCKS :-/ It doesn't have the frenetic quality of "Maniac" or the build up and climax of "What a Feeling!" that is necessary to really pull off the triumphant dance audition scene at the end. That recycled beat must've been ripped right off that Case song ("Touch Me Tease Me") and there are all of what... three notes being played in the whole song? I know it's JLO but damn.

I'll watch the video tho biggrin

Check it out at:

lovebizzare

I like the chorous

The video, well, I don't really like it, since it rips off one of my favorite movies of all time. And what does the theme of Flashdance have to do with the song?
But they did nail the water scene, I will give them that. nod

Still haven't seen it. I just hate that they're taking images from some GREAT films (Goodfellas, Flashdance, Coming to America) & pimping them for shitty, forgettable songs.
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

Yes it would have been better off it were a remake or something. Then again, no.

It's good to see the image concepts on film though... makes me wanna go out and rent Flashdance smile

On another thread, I said the same thing. You don't remember jack shi* from that song, it just got a pumped up video, pumping up her as*.

She worked out for that well though, because she looks really toned, but please, make a good song, or an almost good song, with a hot video, and that will work better.

What is funny, and what J.Lo has somewhat, somehow, is that despite it all, the song (and video) is going to shoot straight to #1 because they love J.lo like that...

And sometimes, her songs have a way of 'creeping' up on you, like 'Dear Ben'...

So she does her thing that way, and it's all good, for whatever reason that is, wherever it goes...so go on J.Lo...

I like Case and Foxy's song, even with the three notes...

Man we watch J-Lo for the Bootay!! stay Glassy-Eyed on Her Shake&Shimmy.and to be on the real J-Lo can't Hit One Note.3 Notes will Choke that Trick Up.She flipped "FlashDance" just like Paula Abdul did with "ColdHearted" but J-Lo kept my Eye's Glassy through out.

Just watch.J-Lo will call up some hot-shot rapper (maybe 50 Cent?) and do a remix. She will film a video for this remix, with the hot-shot rapper appearing in it.The remix will shoot straight to Number One.The original version of the song (and it's video) will soon be forgotten.

That's her formula for success these days smile

The video is just for people who want to stare at her ass. Crap song. And she shouldn't have changed any of the routine's since she's ripping them off anyway. Jennifer Beals and the woman who doubled for her were better biggrin

I like JLO's new video "I'm Glad" ,JLO was off the hook.As for the movie full of body doubles and bad acting but(great plot),the real dancers in that movie, did not get any props for their work. They got ripped off.I mean come on,you can tell, when it comes to the real moves, the sence are not that hard to tell that,it's not Jennifer Beals dancing. At least JLo does here own dancing!
