Dirty Projectors' nod to Prince on new album artwork? Take a look at the cover of the Dirty Projectors new album, Lamp Lit Prose... (if I knew how to upload an image here, I would)....
a little nod to Prince, I think. Too much to be coincidence...
look at the way those flowers are thrown down, and what do red and blue make?

It's doubtful they've ever even seen that cover, but when Prince borrowed/copied it was somehow clever, artistic and inventive, like everything he took from Hendrix. | |
