OMG I haven't heard "Dear Michael" in ages!
Seriously though I didn't even know it was a remake.

Well... Michael. I kind of miss the old under 3 minute long songs, They just used to do what they needed to. Yeah, we'll, we'll try to imagine what silence looks like. |

So for real, all this time, I didn't know that Kim Field's "Dear Michael" was a remake of Michael Jackson, singing to his damn self????
I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. |

y'all didn't know that Michael recorded this song in 1975? it appears on his 1975 album Forever,Michael.
Kim's 1984 remake is nice....released right in the middle of the Thriller Michaelmania era. That was a wise idea.

For some reason a lot people think 'Off The Wall' was his first album. There is so much win amongst his solo Motown albums though. So much. Yeah, we'll, we'll try to imagine what silence looks like. |
