Whata beautiful song and video directed by Spike Lee.

Seems like this album did not get promoted well from the looks of it on discogs. The song on ly has a CD promo for a single and that was it. However I am just discovering this beautiful tune.

That was beautiful. I recall Video Soul playing this at the time of its release. Spike Lee's 40 Acres And A Mule MusicWorks was active for about 5 years in the early '90s and only released a handful of projects. I don't recall any of them being promoted heavily. Raymond Jones' and Norma Jean Wright's State Of Art was another quality 40 Acre project that came and went largely unnoticed. Though they did manage to get a Top 40 R&B single with "Understanding". I believe Spike directed their music videos as well.

He probably was not good at music promotion as much as his films were
