Listening to the new Kanye is kind of like… Being a therapist and listening to him ramble on and on about himself and his obsessions while constantly looking at the clock just waiting for to be over #YE #meh The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

No kidding. Is anyone surprised that his recent behavior had everything to do with a new cd release? This guy is sickening. Mental illness or not, I can't stand the fucker. He's fake news all the way!!

Mintchip said: red-hot-irony alert: the prince.org community is clocking an artist for being self-indulgent, without singles, too emotional, living in a mansion far away from the streets, and being insensitive about US slavery... Next he'll wear assless pants, and we'll burn his albums. [Edited 6/3/18 8:59am] you might be right about all that...but Kanye West is not talented enough, smart enough, gifted enough, strong enough, resilient enough, or pretty enough, to get away with it...

All Kanye wants is attention, just like his wife and her disgusting family, and I for one, refuse to give it to him or the rest of the K clan.

It's fine if you like the album but let's not act as though Kanye is some sagacious philosopher on life. He hasn't said anything we've heard more coherently and more eloquently from others but he's probably deluded enough to think he's opening the entire population up to new worlds. If you can't understand why people are turned off by his most recent comments then there's really no point in explaining why.

Okay, so why be Bart. Be yourself. 8 years is a long time to not listen to an artists work and be able to still criticise his work accuratley. His personality is a mess but if you havent heard anything from On Sight to Saint Pablo including all the tracks he produced for in that span of time...how can one trust your musical opinion? Production wise, the beats was lit in bold or different. I just can't get into Kid Cudi, hated night and day which was annoying. Wiz Khalifa bootleg is Kid Cudi. Idk wtf Kid cudi talking about

I agree. I think this is why I like him and his music. He always pushes the button and challenges me as a listener no matter who the artist he is behind. I am a productions first, lyrics later type of listener and that is why I like him so much more than other artists. You're right, he refuses to give into trap and has as of recent went right back into what made me stop dead in my tracks and wonder who he was behind the scenes before I ever hear his voice. Deep crate digging soul samples on top of gritty synths, bass and guitars. Dude been digging in Numero Groups collections I see from his credits. Dude is a vinyl collector as well paying thousands of dollars to Amobea Records according to Pusha T on The Breakfast CLub. These are the things no one talks about.

Just a tad torn about this one. I'm another one that's totally done with Kanye- tolerated the antics and ignorance for years because the music was so dope. I was really impressed with Pablo- even though I, too, wanted the old Kanye back. * That said, the Trump support and slavery comments was a "last straw" moment for me and that's been made a little easier by the fact that I'm not really feeling Ye. The beats aren't my style and the lyrics are too self indulgent without any real (in my Raekwon voice) "bust-your-shit-open" bars. Honestly, that last sentence also describes how I feel about Jay-Z's 4:44, another album that never got a second listen. * HOWEVER, I love the Pusha T album despite having the worst album cover of all time- great beats (courtesy of Kanye) and only one weak 16-bar verse on the whole album (also, courtesy of Kanye). Can't get into the Kid Cudi/Kanye as Cudi's never been my style either but I'm on pins and needles for Nas on tomorrow. * Yeah, I'm a little conflicted with Kanye right now...
