Foo Fighters do Darling Nikki Just wondering what you all think of the Foo Fighters version of Darling Nikki? My husband is a huge Prince fan and he says he thinks they did a good job - I would love to know what other Prince fans think of it? | |

they never recorded it, did they? I saw the Foo's live in Amsterdam last December and they did one verse of it as a spoof pretending to be a coverband. It was funny though, Dave Grohl's got great humor! The Foo's rock! | |

They DID record it, they did 4 cover versions of their favourite songs and Darling Nikki was one of them. They were released for one week only through their latest CD and some special cd key website.
DO a search on the Org someone posted a link to the download once. It is ok but is old news | |

i like it. it's not live, it's a studio recording. it's actually pretty good if you're not looking for a replica of the original. i've had it for a while now. i think i got it from winmx. | |

"Drive Me Wild" is the only Prince, err, Vanity 6 cover I've heard by Fighters of Foo. It's ok. Not terrible.  Dave Grohl is a cool cat.
