I knew Ne-Yo wrote the song. But I've never heard his inspiration behind it. I do remember Beyonce trying to take credit for writing the song for all the girls out there who were wronged by a man blah blah blah. Ne-Yo popped up in the press a day or two later and basically said, "Uh, no Beyitch, I wrote that". haha
