Give it a shot and let me know how you like it. A friend of mine remixed Kool Aid and made it into an instrumental. Brought up the volume, thickened up the sound a lil and threw in some knee deep and landing of the holy mothership. I'm quite pleased with it.

I saw him two weeks ago and... You really didn't miss much. He has a lot of young kids rapping and only a few old timers in the band (Blackbyrd, Lige Curry, the horn players). It's not what it used to be.
