Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac...which CD should I get? Hey everyone. If you're a Mac fan, I'm sure you must be listening to and loving "Say You Will". I love Mac and own most of their Lindsey-Stevie era CDs but as a youngster (in fact, I wasn't even born when "Rumours" or for that matter "Tusk" were released) I know nothing about Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. I just know that it was more of a bluesy UK group and that they either covered or originally did "Black Magic Woman". I was wondering if anyone could recommend any of their CDs. Are there any Pre-Lindsey-Stevie albums with Chirstine (who joined the band before them) that are worth owning. I know they have a lot of stuff out there but I was interested in maybe just getting a few discs. Thanks | |

Christine has been on each album since "Kiln House"(1970),however I dont have that one and believe she just plays piano on it.The best pre L/S album for CM is (probably) "Heroes Are Hard to Find"(1974)."Mystery To Me" (1973) is also very good. She shares writing/singing credits with Bob Welch on both of these albums. CM also has songs on : Future Games-1971 Bare Trees-1972 Penguin-1973 For the orginal Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, I think "Then Play On"(Green's last) is probably your best bet .It contains "Oh Well" and "Rattlesnake Shake" "Black Magic Woman" is a Green original.
