On stage at Hop Farm festival Prince said journalists ask him what he’s listening to right now and he tells them “good music”. I just don’t think this is good. Maybe someone could reinterpret this song and it would come out ok but this is not that.

I didn't care for it, but I didn't dislike the cover version enough to want to write a snarky thinkpiece about it. Quite a few have popped up on my facebook newsfeed over the past few days. Meh, moving on...
