For someone like him that must have been challenging but cool that he's open to a different approach. Great new album, by the way. Funky and interesting.

MJ played the piano. He also played most everything on "Morphine" except the solo (which was Slash).
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Everyone was inspired by MJ...its a shame it took his passing for them to admit it. To All the Haters on the Internet

For someone who clearly doesn't like Mr. Jackson, you sure do spend a lot of time going into threads about him to post snarky comments.
Ignore his threads. Problem solved. Mike's popularity is not going away, and nothing you say is going to change that. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Jack's new album is awesome. [Edited 3/30/18 16:48pm] Cause tomorrow is taking too long
and yesterday's too far away and the reality that you believe in begins to bind.

Of his post Motown work, a sizable portion.
Along with writing/co-writing songs for himself, he wrote tunes for Diana Ross, LaToya and Rebbie Jackson, The Brothers Johnson, Blackstreet, Jennifer Holliday, Johnny Mathis, J-Friends (a J Pop ensemble), Greg Phillinganes, USA For Africa and Ralph Tresvant
Putting aside one-off songs and his work with his brothers, From Off The Wall to Number Ones, Michael put out 81 songs. Of those, he's credited for writing/cowriting 60 of them

However, I am tired of the Prince cult mentality that Michael was Only a singer and dancer. It’s as if this cult mentality of Prince fans don’t even want to give Michael credit for writing some of the most popular and well-known songs EVER. It’s arrogant, uninformed and hateful to not acknowledge that. It doesn’t take anything away from Prince’s legacy and talent to acknowledge that Michael was not only a singer and dancer, he was a songwriter, producer, choreographer, humanitarian, philanthropist and GLOBAL megastar. Nothing is ever going to change that FACT. Why does it always have to be competition when it comes to BLACK musicians/artists? It makes me sick every time we do this with Michael and Prince, Beyonce and Janet, etc. Why can’t we just enjoy them for who they are and their music? DAMN!!!
