Chris Cornell's widow details relapse

It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

People are saying she is not a very nice person and they fought a lot and were having marital problems. Some people blame her for his death.

There's a lot more to the story about his wife. That's what I read all over social media. She's getting a lot of flack for not seeking answers into her husband's death, like a loving and caring wife would do! She is very suspicious, imo. She knew her husband was a recovering addict who helped other's beat their addiction -- so, why then would she go to the media and say he was a replapsing junkie? How disrespectful. Also, not a nice thing to do to her children.

.

The toxicology reports already stated that he did not have enough prescription drugs in his system that would contribute to his death. He had no illegal drugs in his system -- he was clean.

Dasein

Down On the Upside is fucking brilliant. He was a great songwriter and a preternatural singer.

I hope he found peace. And, addiction does not discriminate.

Why is she considered "suspicious" or doing something that's not a nice thing for her children by simply giving an honest interview about how her husband died? As we've seen with Prince and many other celebrities that have had untimely deaths the fans would like to know the honest and transparent circumstances regarding such tragedies. I don't see anything that she said that implies she wasn't a "caring and loving" wife or is being disrespectful, she's just talking about the events that lead to someone unfortunately taking their own life. If it helps others to realise how dangerous certain prescription drugs can be to recovering addicts, or encourages people that are struggling to go and get help rather than feel they have to take their own life then surely talking like this is a good thing. As said above, she didn't prescribe the drugs, and when she found out that he maybe wasn't in a good frame of mind she sent for someone to go check on him, though sadly it was too late. I don't see what the problem is here.

The same could be said about Men (some men). lol

.

Something about that woman does not sit well with me. I mean, her Husband died -- why not speak about all the wonderful things he did and how he helped so many other's kick drugs? Where the hell was she when he needed her--if he was depressed and needed help or was back on drugs -- what the fuck was she doing?

.

Am I judging? Maybe so, but you can be sure if I see my husband spiraling out of control, I'm not just gonna sit back and watch it happen. I like to give that woman a nice bitch slap!! mad

Every time anyone opens their mouth to say anything at all, they are passing some kind of judgement, so we ALL do it ALL the time. No biggie. Nothing wrong with having a clear cut opinion on something.

I won't sit here and say that I don't judge others, because I do. I agree; anyone who has an opinion is going to judge someone, right? I try to not pass judgment on other's, as God says "judge not lest ye be judged". I try, and sometimes fail. lol

.

I'm Irish and I'm opinionated -- my weakness. lol
