I haven't heard Thelma and The Winans' version but I automatically say Bill Withers. Always hated Club Nouveau's version. | |

The Club Nouveau version was the first version I got to know, and I loved it back in the day. They have my sympathy. Nowadays I prefer Bill Withers' version though. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

definitely whithers, why? oh, i don't know, the synths etc.., were all the rage at the time and lots of groups took them too damned far, i always liked real music, even though i grew up on the other stuff. | |

Bill, GODDAMMIT!!!! Club Nouveau's version was popular when Crack was, so I'll just leave it THERE.
