Although it was nice to see Prince honored....it was also upsetting because I doubt he would have wanted that. Strange emotions I'm feeling right now.

Considering Prince has died, it's an odd song choice.

All style but no real substance. Too much going on with the interaction between the musicians, the dancers, and the visuals. Prince tribute was meh but it was nice to see anyway.

I liked it. I thought it was cool when they showed Minny lighting purple outside.

aye yaye yaye.

If I wanted to see a cute, 40+ year old white guy jigging around, my husband fits the bill most definitely.

JT has so much more talent than that displayed... little actual singing, weak mix, why?

Anyway, the staging was decent (other than the colored sweatshirts.)

And the Prince diddy was not exceedingly offensive, so, ain't tripping there. That's a win. eek

Justin did an great job. A family member, who is a huge fan, said that his concerts are always excellent.

No idea who the audience was he was targeting.

Or what the N-Sync or whatever choreography features were about.

Bizarre to see a middle-aged-dude doing that in that way.

Feeling lost. neutral

Hopefully, some people loved it and are really excited, just like Prince dorks used to be about his stuff.

I think that his performance had too much going on.Just when you would start enjoying a song,he would quickly start another song. The whole thing was a bit unfocused.

That's the messed up part. I was going to pay $750./ea. for good tickets to a May concert b/c I thought he was very talented, but now I'm lost.

No artist is worth 750 $. Better spend that money on something important.

but same as decent Pink tix, and half much as decent Bruno Mars tix. Ugh, I know.

I think it is the ticket brokers, but whatever. I'm Prince spoiled from being up close, so I'm not doing undesirable seating. sad

Well, guess you have money to burn. Certainly wouldn't spend that money for a concert, especially not for Timberfake!

So? What? I saw Michael 25 times in concert and never paid 750. Nor would I ever.

Interesting to read the mixed reviews on the internet... I think it was an uncertain response for the most part, people appreciating that Prince was given a tribute.
