When I saw Parliament Funkadelic perform this a couple of months ago, it was fucking incredible! It was the highlight of the concert, aside from Blackbird McKnight performing Maggot Brain.

This studio version is pretty good, but I really think a live band would treat this one better.

Gotta agree with you on this one; I saw P-Funk perform it live, too, and it was a concert highlight. They should release a live album.

I'm dying to hear the single, but, I can't justify buying it when I know I'll be buying the album on CD the day it hits the shops. Hopefully that will be soon... cool

You gotta deal with the fact that GC is the all time funkster. He's out funked 'em all. He got down in the 70's, and is still getting down into his 70's. Mugg put out a decent 3 disc set on Funkadelic 3 years ago & is getting ready to drop the Parliament bomb.
It's no wonder he always says he's just getting started.
