Even tho them movies are cheesy as they come, I have this big grin on my face whenever I watch them. Maybe they remind me of good ol' times?? Or maybe the way my parents talked about them?? I don't really know, its just a good feeling that I have whenever I watch them and I just laugh my ass about how cheesy they're. But then again, they're easy 2 watch and all of them have SIMPLE yet STR8 point which make 'em easy 2 watch.

I love Coffy, Trouble Man, Shaft and all of them but my ABSLOUTE FAVE are Foxy Brown(very cute yet all up on yo face) and Car Wash(I still laugh whenever I see this mofo,,,the cheesiest sh*t I eva seen )

Actually my favourite piece is Car Wash
They had a blaxploitation festival at a movietheatre
in Stockholm so I went 2 see as many as I could
that week on the big screen.Shaft,Coffy,Foxy Brown,
The Mack,Superfly.
Henry Gibson who was Curtis Mayfields percussionplayer
sadly passed away a few weeks ago.He lived in Stockholm
& he was at the theatre holding a seminar,playing some percussion
& telling memories
before "Superfly" started.

A few years ago, I took it upon myself to find out what the hell happened to Jim Kelly. Using my pc at work (so what we were working on a million dollar ad account-this was much more important), I found an article (I forget the name of the site - I stumbled upon it) that featured an interview with Mr. "Black Belt Jones" himself! There were no recent photos posted, but the interviewer said that he looks the same as he did in his '70's heyday. The 'fro was just a little shorter, that's all. He keeps in shape with lots of tennis and of course, martial arts. He still gets offered scripts from time to time, but they're all in the "blaxploitation" vein. So, until he finds something he likes, he'll simply live his life and chill. I guess we still have "Enter the Dragon" to remember him by, even though Mr. Han royally f**ks him up...

That line alone should've won him an Oscar nomination
