This would be my ideal Mazarati: Greatest Hits compilation it runs about 75:40 minutes and would fit on a single disc. It flows very well.

It couldnt be a greatest hits with full album tracks on it. The B-Sides like Champagne Saturday would have to be included.

Funny that you mentioned it because i had "Champagne Saturday" included but i substituted it for "Infactuation" as i think it better represents them. If it was a 2 CD greatest hits most defenetly.

This is the original Mazarati "Jerk Out" track givin from Prince and a longer and much better track in my opinion. It was rejected by Mazarati at the time due to racist and vulgar lyrics.

That version of Jerk Out is nasty as all hell

They are (2) tracks that i could leave without on their first album and one on the second album but i totally agree both should be remastered and re issued. Actually they should do the same with "The Lost Tapes" that were never issued or place them as bonus tracks on both albums. Jerk Out, Infactuation and Champagne Saturday really stand out.

No one's mentioned KISS! surely their original version deserves to be on a overview of their career (even if to highlight Prince's improvements of the song).

This is certantly a band that deserves some respect for their great cross over Funk/Rock music. I recommended to Audio Fidelity to look into remastering their albums on a Hybrid SACD but as you all know it's complicated. That beeing said i invite any one to do the same. They are coming out with a Hybrid SACD of Quincy Jones: The Dude in a few days wich will sound terrific i am sure.
