Seen Meshell many times here in the Bay Area. Its true you usually don't know what your going to get but if your paying attn you'll know what vibes she's on by the latest album she's recorded. I was only disappointed one time when the set was one long lullaby without variation. The next show was a showcase for TWHMMTMOMD & it sounded otherworldly. |

Really looking forward to buying this album. I am VERY curious about her version of Lisa Lisa´s I Wonder If I Take You Home, and I love her version of Tender Love. And as much as I dislike most cover versions of Prince songs, I really like her version of Sometimes It Snows. Haven´t bought a physical CD in a long time but this is one of those occasions where I can´t wait to get my hands on that album, put on the headphones and enjoy it again and again. Good news.
