Billy Corgan's new short film Pillbox is available now for all to see. The 40-minute visual is streaming in its entirety now on YouTube.
Written and co-directed by Corgan, Pillbox is a silent film soundtracked by the Smashing Pumpkins frontman's new solo album, Ogilala.
The movie was screened in theaters last month. "I thought it was a different approach to listening to an album, to watch it in essence with a related, albeit non-linear, silent movie," Corgan says of Pillbox. "Art is art. And together the two pieces create a work unto itself."
Corgan wrapped up an acoustic tour in support of Ogilala earlier this month.
The Pumpkins are one of my top -5 bands, but Billy can get on my nerves sometimes Far from bad, his new solo work - It's really solo cause i miss drums hard here.
