My favourites are "Dangerous" and "Who Is It".

I LOVE the early demo for "Give In To Me" but I never cared too much for the album version.

Who Is It / Give In To Me / Will You Be There / Keep The Faith might be my favorite sequence of songs on any MJ album.

Some of the tracks showed up on my playlist last night, it's truly a solid album, and i think the two halves of it intended to be different from one another musically, as I've heard many say it doesn't flow like the quincy albums from start to finish

Favorite joints- Remember The Time and Dangerous

I know that for the first half of the 90's, black or white was popular among my peers, and it would pop up at a talent show, or a birthday party, and it was like an event when that video premiered

The rest of the album is great too, I do think it's more mature than Bad for sure too and he was moving in an amazing direction. And the demos from this era are some of his best ones!

I also feel as though my peer group looking back this time loves Remember the Time and it pops up on old school playlists at barbecues

The seven songs produced by Teddy Riley are easily some of the best songs of Michael Jackson's career...too bad the serious pedophilia charges started coming in after this album was released, which destroyed any momentum this album had infused into Mike's career...

Out of the seven songs Teddy produced, I liked "Remember The Time" and "Can't Let Her Get Away" the most. RTT was the apex of the NJS movement for me. Though it came rather late compared to some of Teddy's other hits, it held its own against all of its predecessors and those to follow.

As far as videos are concerned. I'll never forget that primetime special on national television when "Black or White" debuted. While most people were caught up on the whole morphing thing with the different races of people (yeah, that was cool), I was still stuck on "WOW, Michael Jackson can tap dance!" I was a bigger fan of the end sequence more than all of the special effects displayed earlier.

I agree Can't Let Her Get Away was the shit! I've heard people say it's their least favourite on the album, but I think it was intendd to be a freestyle groove kind of song. I think musically that song has come the closest to having a James Brown moment though it's totally an MJ moment

It was so nice when his brothers used the song at the end of the tour they did in 2012

Great album, i wish it would have a more organic sound. My favorites might be:

Will You Be There, Who Is It and Give In To Me.

Those remixes, the black or white ones, and the remember the time teddy riley smooth mix are the best dangerous remixes. The rest of them I could just not get into. Michael put so much time and effort into the originals that remixes don't always do them justice, nor could they recreate what he does from scratch, almost like he's watermarked the originals with audio

On the other hand, janet's remixes and mariah's mixes were the best remixes by anyone in the 90's. I guess Madonna too.

Everything on this is 5 stars except for Gone Too Soon and Keep The Faith.

My favourite MJ album and one of my faves by anyone.

And Who Is It is one of if not the greatest piece he made.

The vocal intro that killer rhythm and bass line....the whole arrangement and vocals are damn near perfect. Chorus is life!

I don't want to highjack the thread but I don't want to start another MJ thread.

This year is also 20th anniversary of Blood On The Dance Floor. A fan made an alternate mix of the title track and I think is much better than the original. The intro is pure molten gold

I like the Jam {Jeep Mix} and the club versions of Remember The Time & In The Closet. In The Closet had 2 separate maxi singles sold separately. I like most of the mixes. Some were just intrumentals & dubs of the main remixes. I had also bought a Japanese CD box set at the time, which had a few remixes of older songs like Beat It & Rock With You. It also had Come Together, which is a few years before it was on HIStory. It's slightly different than the one on that album, a bit longer.

What's wrong with the lyrics, they are good to me, actually i find them more honest than Dirty Diana.

Do You Know Where Your Children Are and Monkey Business would have made Dangerous even a greater album.

I would have voted to put Do You Know (O.P.P. sample version) in place of "She Drives Me Wild" but the album was packed enough as it is

Yeah. And it doesn't fit the music styling of the album. (*not that Gone Too Soon does either) ...it deviates pretty largely Had DANGEROUS been a double album i don't see why not. The fan made DANGEROUS 25 makes for a great listen. My favorite era song that hasn't got its due is SOMEONE PUT YOUR HAND OUT. it sounds honest and that lone trumpet solo kills me.

As time has passed, I don't think Do You Know Where Your Children Are was even for consideration for Dangerous. He and John Barnes recorded it in '84 (right after the Pepsi accident. The demo on Xscape is that version) but it may have been brought back out in '89-90 but who knows
